Since 2018, we have been shaping the culinary experience on ÖBB’s long-distance services with the DoN’s brand. With the onboard restaurant, First Class service, mobile at-seat service, and vending solutions, we cover all service lines and orchestrate them within a complex, high-frequency rail logistics operation.

Behind the onboard service are well-designed processes—from logistics and IT to product availability and quality assurance, as well as staff training and complex backup systems. With our moving restaurants across Austria, we are certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 22000:2018.

Our teams, trained through the DoN Academy, are prepared for the complex realities of long-distance rail operations—from international currency handling and multiple travel classes to delivering service at high frequency.

We implement sustainability consistently and measurably: with 100% recyclable packaging, 100% Fairtrade coffee, the LKÖ “Gut zu Wissen” transparency label, and reusable deposit systems using glass bottles. In addition, we rely on certified regional partners and cooperate with charitable organizations as an integral part of our sustainable approach.
